Worn CV Axles or torn boots can cause noises and vibrations especially when turning. When the time comes it is most cost effective to replace the Constant Velocity Axle with a new Axle.

A new axle comes complete with new bearings and boots for both the inner and outer joints of the Constant Velocity Axle.  Constant velocity axles are what connects the transmission to your drive wheels they are designed to be able to spin and allow for 360 degree movement as your vehicle turns left or right as well as bouncing up and down. 

The bearings of a CV Axle are protected with a rubber boot. Replacing CV Axles are normal maintenance as the rubber boots eventually wear out exposing the bearings to moisture and dirt.
